To be a Full member of WFT Ireland you must be a professional working in film, television or creative media in Ireland.
This includes directors, writers, producers, actors, media lawyers, accountants, broadcasters, presenters, development executives, PR people, journalists, crew members, technicians, distribution and everyone in post-production.
Yearly cost: €60
Associate Membership
This membership is for any person who is ineligible for full membership but who previously worked or is starting work in film, television, animation, pre and post-production, VR and digital storytelling and related industry fields. This includes students 18 and over who are in third level education studying any of the above related fields. Associate Members can attend all online events, and live WFT activities and events unless space is limited. Associates are not listed in the membership directory, have no voting rights and cannot stand for election to the WFT Board.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP T&Cs
1.
1.1 Membership of the Company shall be open to anyone with professional experience in production, broadcast or other dissemination of moving images including experience in television, film and/or the digital media industries (the Industry) and whether such experience has been gained in technical, creative, business or other fields connected with the Industry. A list of are as the Company considers appropriate is contained in the membership application form.

1.2 The board of directors of the Company (the Board) may at its discretion
accept an application for membership where the above requirements are not
fully met provided that such acceptance is agreed by the chief executive of the
Company (the Chief Executive) or such other person(s) as shall be nominated
by the Board for such purpose.

1.3 Notwithstanding the above, the Chief Executive, or such other person(s) as
shall be nominated by the Board for such purpose shall in pursuance of the best
interests of the Company exercise an absolute discretion in accept ing or
rejecting any application for membership of the Company. In the event that any
application is not accepted, the Board may (but shall not be obliged to) provide
the applicant with reasons for its rejection.

1.4 Membership shall not be transferable and shall cease on death.
