Women in Film & Television Ireland is proud to present the line up for their annual Short Film Showcase programme, which takes place in IFI on Thursday 30 November. Now in its 6th year, the WFT 2023 Showcase will celebrates the breadth and strength of work being made by new and established women filmmakers in Ireland today.
In partnership with the IFI and supported by Coimisiún na Meán, the annual event will be followed by an awards ceremony with stunning prizes for Best Writer, Best Non-narrative Film, Best Cinematography, Best Film and Runner Up. The Showcase is eligible to all WFT members and provides a platform for both emerging and established women’s voices in the industry.
Dolorosa
Moving through a series of tableaux vivants, Dolorosa is a short film reflecting on humanity in all its glory, innocence and desperation, power and vulnerability.
