“The Short Film Showcase 2023 is our flagship event and we’re delighted to have the work of our talented members spotlighted in the IFI once again. The IFI have hosted us for the past six years and every year the programme gets stronger and more impactful. The night is a wonderful opportunity for Irish female talent to be centre stage. All the shorts are directed by women and many of the other roles also have women in key positions. Apart from the films and the awards, the night is a sparkling, fun affair with filmmakers, film lovers, friends, family and guests coming together in an act of celebration. There’s a reception afterwards in the IFI foyer where you can mingle and chat to the filmmakers about their work. This year we’re delighted to welcome special guests Bríd Ní Neachtain, IFTA Award-winning actor and Cleona Ní Chrualaoi, Academy-Award nominated Producer.”
