The full list of IFTA Awards winners 2024, hosted by the Irish Film & Television Academy, has been released on Saturday, 20th April, and we are thrilled for all our WFT members who were nominated and who took home some of the most prestigious awards of the night!
That They May Face The Rising Sun, produced by WFT member Tina O’Reilly and adapted from John McGahern’s novel about life in rural Ireland, won the top award for Best Film.
WFT member Lisa Mulcahy took home Best Director Film for the gothic drama Lies We Tell, which also won Best Script Film.
KIN was another big winner in the Drama category, WFT member Maria Doyle Kennedy taking home the award for Supporting Actress in a Drama.
The ceremony will air on RTÉ tonight, Monday 22 April, at 9.35pm – so make sure to tune in and cheer for all the wonderfully talented WFT members whose works were recognised through nominations and wins – we know we will!
