On Andrea Arnold attending the Irish Premiere of Bird, Light House Cinema’s Head of Cinema, Alice Black commented:
“We’ve been fans and champions of Andrea Arnold’s fierce and beautifully observed work for almost two decades. We love how she brings unseen lives into the light, uncovering new talent in the process and showing how inner strength can triumph in the most difficult environments. We can’t wait to welcome her to our (Light) House and hear what she has to say about the extraordinary Bird.”
Tickets can be purchased online or through the box office. Customers are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
Bird, written and directed by Academy-Award® winner Andrea Arnold, received its World Premiere in Competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and stars BAFTA-winner and Academy-Award® nominee Barry Keoghan (The Banshees of Inisherin, Saltburn), Gotham-Award nominee Franz Rogowski (Passages, Great Freedom, Transit), and newcomers Nykiya Adams and Jason Buda.
