On 20th July, WFT Ireland hosted a very special event Greater Later: Building Sustainable Careers supported by Screen Ireland. This series of talks celebrated the remarkable achievements of women in the industry who have found success, often later in their careers. We delved into a case study of the film Sunlight, with Director Claire Dix and writer Ailbhe Keogan. Equal part funny and honest, this discussion saw us delve into the creative process behind this thought-provoking film, as well as the challenges and triumphs they faced in bringing their vision to the screen.
