We are delighted to announce that submissions are now open for the WFT Members Short Film Showcase 2025, taking place this December!
This annual event, supported by Coimisiún na Meán, celebrates the creativity of women and non-binary filmmakers, showcasing the breadth of our members’ work across all genres.
Selected films will be screened at the Showcase, followed by an Awards Ceremony, where prizes will be awarded in categories such as:

Best Writer

Best Non-Narrative

Best Cinematography
This is a unique opportunity to share your work with peers, industry professionals and audiences, and to be part of one of WFT Ireland’s most exciting annual events.

Submission is FREE – open exclusively to current WFT members

Eligibility: Shorts (15 mins or under, including credits) made between January 2023 – August 2025.
