We are delighted to share that WFT member Patricia Kelly’s debut feature Verdigris will be the opening film at the 25th Chicago Irish Film Festival on 29 February, as well as closing the 18th Capital DC Irish Film Festival on 3rd March! Patricia has also been selected as one of the finalists for the Fís TV Summit Pitching Competition in Galway on 1st February with her TV project, Humdrum. A massive congratulations to Patricia and her crew!
About PATRICIA KELLY
Patricia is a writer and director and the founder of MnáMná Films, an Irish production company based in Dublin. Her debut feature film, Verdigris, won Best Independent Film at the Galway Film Fleadh, the audience award for Best Irish Film at the Newport Beach Film Festival, Best Narrative Feature at the Kerry International Film Festival and Best Feature Film at the Irish Film Festival London. Her award-winning short films have screened worldwide, she has had a comedy radio play broadcast on RTE Radio 1 and she has an MA in Screenwriting for Film & TV. Passionate about amplifying marginalised voices, Patricia is represented by Imagine Talent.
