Each year, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival recognises the new generation of film talent marking their place in the Irish film industry through the Discovery Award.
The 2019 nominees include Writer/Directors Alexandra McGuinness (She’s Missing), and Oonagh Kearney (Five Letters To The Stranger Who Will Dissect My Brain), Production Designer & Art Director Alice Vignoles-Russell (The Trap), Make Up Artist Madonna Bambino (Low Tide); and Producer Roisín Geraghty (Five Letters To The Stranger Who Will Dissect My Brain). Congratulations to these talented women in film on their well-deserved nominations!
