Free tickets for WFT Members: International Women’s Day with The Forgotten Yeats Sisters

As part of Screen Producers Ireland’s continued efforts to foster a more inclusive environment for people working in the independent production sector, a special event will take place on International Women’s Day 2024.

WFT members are invited to join on Friday afternoon for an exploration of SPI Board Member Maggie Breathnach’s production of Lily & Lolly: The Forgotten Yeats Sisters, a Sky Original documentary that’s hosted and executive produced by Irish singer-songwriter Imelda May.

The documentary, which uncovers the untold story of the Yeats sisters’ contribution to Irish creative history, was also created by an all-female production team.

  • Date: Friday, 8th March 2024
  • Time: 4pm – 7pm
  • Location: Lighthouse Cinema, Screen 3, Smithfield

Following the 60 mins documentary screening of the brand-new documentary, both Maggie and Imelda will take part in a Q&A hosted by Sinéad Crowley, Director of Media Development, Comisiún na Meán and former RTÉ Arts Correspondent.
