Women in Film and Television Ireland (WFT Ireland) is delighted to announce the 2026 edition of Greater Later: Building Sustainable Careers, taking place on Wednesday, 4 November at Hen’s Teeth, Dublin.
With the generous support of Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland’s Stakeholders Funding, Greater Later brings together women aged 40+ from across the screen industries for an afternoon of conversations, insights and connections exploring career longevity, sustainable practice and how we can build a more equitable and thriving industry for women at every stage of their careers.
Now an annual WFT Ireland event, Greater Later creates space to recognise the experience and contribution of women working across the screen industries, while opening up conversations around the realities of sustaining and developing a career over the long term.
Our programme brings together leading voices from across the screen industries for a panel discussion and two special conversations exploring career longevity, creative practice and the realities of building sustainable careers. We are delighted to welcome special guest Mia Bays, Oscar‑winning, BAFTA‑nominated film producer and strategist, alongside another very special guest who will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
