In this WFT Ireland Podcast, Project Manager Gemma Creagh spoke with one of our talented members, Actor and AD Rachel Morgan. Rachel wore multiple hats on top titles such as Disenchanted and The Pope’s Exorcist, and you might recognise her from her role on RTE’s The Gone, which is returning soon for a second Series. In this discussion, we spoke with Rachel about her experience in the industry on both sides of the camera and what it’s like working on sets big and small.

About Rachel Morgan

WFT member Rachel Morgan is an actress and assistant director in the film and television industry. During college in 2020 she applied to be an extra and got the job of Jodie Comer’s full time stand-in on Ridley Scott’s film ‘The Last Duel’.  This on set experience sparked a curiosity in filmmaking, which led to her starting work as a trainee assistant director where she’s racked up over 20 credits including ‘Disenchanted’ and ‘The Pope’s Exorcist’. Through watching the craft on set, Rachel began pursuing her love for acting. In her first big role, Rachel played the missing girl ‘Sinéad’ on the hit TV series ‘The Gone’ and is looking forward to returning to New Zealand for Season 2. Rachel envisions a future filled with captivating roles and contributions to the world of film and television.
